Informed Consent
By making an appointment, the client gives consent to a consultation with the understanding that this involves complementary holistic medicine, including pulsed electromagnetic field therapy. The focus is on the individual’s innate healing ability. I do not diagnose or claim to be able to treat specific conditions. Instead, I believe that when the body is given what it needs, it has the capacity to heal itself.
These sessions may complement any medical treatment you are receiving, and you should continue to seek medical advice. Referral to another health professional or GP will be advised where appropriate. All records and information will be kept strictly confidential. I am not working in my capacity as a registered nurse in these therapies.
Contraindications to biomodulator treatment:
- Pacemaker or implanted electronic device.
- Recent stroke, until possible blood clots have had time to resolve. You must disclose if you have any known blood clots.
- Pregnancy.
- High sensitivity to electromagnetic frequencies, for example, inability to be around a computer.
